It’s been non-stop.

Mom I remember Elder Brown haha. He’s from Kauai. Ever since I’ve gotten to Ha’apai it’s been non-stop stress. Mainly because me and Lomu are in charge of everything. As soon as we landed and we didn’t know what to do, and a bunch of missionaries were asking me what’s next. That’s when I realized that I’m the one who has to make the calls and in charge of everybody getting to the areas which included boat trips for some. So I started asking around for a phone from just random people, and after that I called Lomu and let him know we were here so he can come pick us up. And right then we had to put together a plan to get every missionary to the areas, and we really did not have room in our shuttle, and also I didn’t know where anything was in Ha’apai. But everything worked out though.

Lupe got to tag along with Pres. & Sis. Tuione and surprise Elder Sasaki in Ha’apai.
Make sure everyone gets here from the outer islands. out where they’re gonna stay. and just a whole bunch of stuff like that. And make sure every missionary is just under control while they’re here.

Ever since I got here its been non-stop. Only recently we got  a chance to do some actual missionary work. Our areas is also really dead. There hasn’t been a baptism here for like a year. We’ve probably went to about 70% of the houses in our area so far. I really want to get a baptism here, but we’ll see what happens.

Elder Penitoni, Elder Sasaki, and Elder Lauti

Hey mom, I’m good. Traveling was not fun, but I made it. Once I made it to Tonga, I was taken immediately to Vaini to stay with Betten and Lauti. I was pretty much with them the whole time.

It was fun seeing some old members of mine and stuff. Yesterday was transfers. I’m going to Ha’apai. I’m the Zone Leader with Elder Lomu. Elder Bentten is the new AP with Elder Hansen. I fly to Ha’apai tomorrow, it’s gonna be crazy. I’m really excited.

Last night I was part of this program at Liahona and we sang a bunch of Christmas songs. It was really fun and spiritual.

The reason I didn’t email yesterday is because I was stuck int he office all day. They were trying to get me a Tonga license. They said it’s not a full drivers license. They think it’s a permit. Today I’ve just been running around with Elder Zundel. He’s going to Niuatoputapu on Thursday. I’m really excited to companions with Elder Lomu.

Oh and something else. Bentten is an awesome missionary. We had stake conference this past Sunday and Pres. Makai was in attendance. The stake president of Vaini lives in the ward they work in. In the middle of his talk the Stake Presidency praised Bentten and asked Pres. Makai if he can stay again another transfer, but he will be AP now.
